The location of the event itself was closed and i could only find posters like these on opposite sides of the building.
Sorry for the water but like i said the weather was not at it finest. In a frankly desperate attempt to find some more posters or fliers my friend and i visited the pubs in the surrounding area thinking that there may be a few posters, sandwich boards or fliers on the tables. None whatsoever, we asked the staff at a popular O'Neills and they said they had no information on the Event. After a pint or two in the O'Neills thinking what to do now, i realised what mistake i made. I completely forgot to take into consideration that the organisers CAMRA rely on members to keep them afloat and therefore take care of their own by sending e-mails and texts to their members and giving them all the information rather than sticking up posters left right and center.
This may explain why the CAMRA website had alot of information because it would usually be members that go onto it. Im not giving up on this though and im going to look for more in terms of media coverage for this event.
I am impressed by your sticking power and your endurance in trying to track down advertising. it must have been awful to have to spend so much time in pubs :D
